Helping Kids Succeed

Helping Kids Succeed

Living in poverty doesn’t just mean a lower standard of living for children, it can also result in fewer opportunities, health problems, emotional issues, and academic challenges. Helping children overcome these obstacles allows them to find the support they need to excel as adults. Arizona has one of the highest rates of children living in poverty, which means thousands of children and young adults struggle to create a better future for themselves.

When we work together, we can help kids succeed. That’s why Desert Financial is proud to support local organizations that help children in our community. Whether it’s providing clothes and shoes for kids from low-income families, or helping the nearly 25% of Arizona children who struggle with food insecurity, we’re committed to giving back.

Through grants and volunteer support, we assist dozens of organizations that help Arizona children. Some of the services provided by these groups include mentoring, education, fighting hunger, school supplies, safe homes, and counseling.
