Why do I need to update my browser?

In order to provide a secure Online Banking experience for members, we use technology that needs the support of modern browsers. If you’re seeing a message asking you to update yours, it’s because your current version is no longer on our list of supported browsers.

This update is important for your security and your ability to log in to Online Banking; we strongly recommend updating it or using a different device with a supported browser.

Which browser versions can I use?

Supported browsers are:

Microsoft Edge: Version 118 or above

Mozilla Firefox: Version 118 or above

Google Chrome: Version 118 or above

Safari: Version 15 or above

What if I don’t update my browser?

If you don’t update your browser, you eventually won’t be able to log in to Online Banking – this could be months from now or already happening, depending on your current browser and how long ago it became outdated. If you still have login access in the meantime, but you’re continuing to use an outdated browser, you risk:

• Security issues, like a lack of privacy and features needed to keep your account safe and secure.
• Bugs and limitations that could create problems when you use Online Banking.
• Missing features, which may make Online Banking harder to use.

If your device won’t allow you to update your browser to a supported version, it may be outdated and need to be replaced. Try a different device for now, such as a smartphone (where you have the option to use the Desert Financial app) or tablet instead of a desktop computer, for example.
