Service of Process

Below are instructions for service of process of certain legal documents. Desert Financial requires all document subpoenas, levies, and garnishments served to be issued from or domesticated in the State of Arizona. 

As part of our ongoing effort to enhance responsiveness, efficiency, and accuracy in our legal document handling, Desert Financial has implemented ServePort™. We use the ServePort™ portal to receive and process document subpoenas and levies from agencies, law firms, and individuals.

Document Subpoenas and Levies

To serve a document subpoena or levy electronically using ServePort™:

Go to https://app.serveport.com/serve/desertfinancial,

1. enter your email address to receive a PIN,
2. select the type of document you are serving,
3. complete the short form,
4. click Submit to receive an Acknowledgment of Receipt.

You may also send document subpoenas and levies via email to Subpoenas@desertfinancial.com or Levies@desertfinancial.com, respectively, and via U.S. mail or in person at the address below.

Garnishments

Garnishments may be served in person at Desert Financial Corporate Headquarters, located at:

Garnishments must be accompanied by a $25 fee in the form of a check, made payable to Desert Financial Credit Union.  You may email Garnishments@desertfinancial.com for assistance.
