The application period for the 2026 Adopt-A-Teacher program will open July 7, 2026 and will run until July 24, 2026.

About the Adopt-A-Teacher program

Desert Financial was founded in 1939 by a group of educators who believed in sharing success with the community. One way we continue to share success is by giving back to Arizona teachers! We recognize the hard work of our educators by giving them the opportunity to be part of our annual Adopt-A-Teacher program.1

We’re adopting 100 teachers from all over the state this year. Any teacher in Arizona can apply! Each selected teacher will receive $1,000 to go toward improving their classrooms. Priority selection will go to Title I schools.

Step 1
Fill out the application. Make sure you’re able to complete the application in one sitting. Information on partially completed applications won’t be saved.
Step 2
Your application will be reviewed by Desert Financial.
Step 3
If your application is chosen for the Adopt-A-Teacher Program, you will be notified via email.

Fill out the form below by July 24, 2026, for a chance to be one of the 100 selected teachers in the 2026 Adopt-A-Teacher program! Recipients will be announced on August 20.

By submitting this application, I certify that the information provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge and understand that, if selected as an Adopt-A-Teacher recipient, I will receive a $1,000 award to purchase classroom supplies, subject to the Official Rules.
