Desert Financial Credit Union Announces Verrado Branch Grand Opening

New Buckeye Location Celebration to Take Place Feb. 27-28

PHOENIX – Desert Financial Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of its newest branch in the Verrado neighborhood of Buckeye, AZ on Feb. 27-28.

The Verrado branch — located at 830 N. Verrado Way— is the second Desert Financial location in Buckeye. It’s open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The branch provides a full suite of financial services as well as drive-thru banking, easy-access ATMs, notary services, will and trusts assistance, and more.

On Friday, Feb. 27, guests are welcome to mix, mingle, enjoy refreshments and step into the money machine starting at 9 a.m. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. with remarks from local dignitaries and Desert Financial representatives. A check presentation to Midwest Food Bank benefiting Mirna's Place will follow immediately after.

On Saturday, Feb. 28, celebrate the grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a block party featuring complimentary food trucks, giveaways, family-friendly activities—including face painting, an obstacle course and cornhole—as well as a personalized financial education from coaches and wealth management representatives. Guests can also enjoy volunteer activities, a mobile blood drive and a photobooth where guests can “Share Your Inner Moneylogue”. The Verrado branch will remain open until 3 p.m. post-event to accommodate new member inquiries.

Guests who attend the event could earn $200 by opening a Free Checking account at its newest branch.¹
