Desert Financial Credit Union surprises Cardinals superfan with ultimate game-day experience

A Desert Financial member and Arizona Cardinals superfan got a huge surprise after his shift at Fry’s in Prescott Valley.

Ricky Perez, a beloved community member, is an enthusiastic supporter of both organizations. His friends at the Desert Financial in Prescott Valley wanted to celebrate his kindness, so they partnered with the Cardinals to surprise him with a game-day experience he’d never forget.

On Aug. 12, Ricky ended his shift and was called over to the Fry’s in-store Desert Financial branch. He was greeted by his friends from the branch, where they gifted him two Cardinals jerseys, a signed helmet and football, tickets to the season opener and pre-game field passes for Ricky and his family.

The excitement didn’t stop that day. Come game day, Ricky’s family got the full experience: seeing the field from the players’ point of view, enjoying the game day atmosphere and of course, cheering on his favorite players. They enjoyed the game from the Desert Financial Suite at State Farm Stadium, cheering on the Cardinals to a win — and made memories that will last a lifetime.
