In addition to our Desert Financial Community Service Scholarships, we’re proud to introduce a new paid summer internship program for graduating high school students who give back to our community.
As an intern, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in an office setting, allowing you to grow your skills and enhance your future education and employment opportunities. Interns will support projects and programs, help with administrative and clerical tasks, and participate in ongoing structured learning and development activities. You’ll work in a department within the credit union based on your interests and the needs of the organization.
If you are selected as one of the paid summer interns, you will be expected to work approximately 24 hours per week for a 10-week period starting on May 28, 2019. Interns will work primarily at our main office at 148 N. 48th Street in Phoenix (48th Street and Washington).
Students interested in the Internship must also apply for the Community Service Scholarship and meet the requirements:
The application process for the 2019 cycle is now closed.
Applications for the 2020 Community Service Scholarship (and the student internship program) will be accepted through the online application form that will be available Jan. 1, 2020 through March 1, 2020.
Our scholarship and internship program are provided by the Desert Financial Foundation. If you would like to learn more about how we’re supporting education in Arizona, check out our commitment to education page.
