Can someone be on the vehicle title if they aren’t on the loan?
No, they must be on the loan to be on the title.
How do I make payments on my auto loan?
You can make payments in Online Banking or at a branch.
Will my seller need to visit a branch to complete the transaction?
If your seller is a private party, they will need to visit a branch to sign documents and exchange the vehicle title for payment.
Can I apply with a co-signer?
Yes, you can.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) and Depreciation Protection Waiver (DPW) coverage are available only on eligible vehicles financed through Desert Financial Credit Union. Coverage elected prior to loan closing may be amortized into the total financed loan amount or paid for out-of-pocket. Coverage elected after loan closing is available on eligible vehicles at any point throughout the life of the loan and is added to the loan balance and amortized over the remaining loan term.

Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) contracts are available only to Desert Financial Credit Union (DFCU) members. Eligibility and coverage level depend on the year, make, model, and current mileage of the vehicle. Coverage elected for vehicles financed at DFCU prior to loan closing may be amortized into the total financed loan amount or paid for out-of-pocket. Coverage elected for vehicles financed at DFCU after loan closing can be added at any point throughout the life of the loan and can be added to the loan balance and amortized over the remaining loan term. For vehicles financed at another financial institution or owned outright must be paid for out-of-pocket.

Credit Protection coverage is available only on eligible consumer loans financed through Desert Financial Credit Union. Eligibility requirements, conditions and exclusions apply. Elected coverage may be added prior to loan closing or for a period of up to 180-days after loan closing.
