How do you make change in your community?
I try to make a difference in my community by volunteering and supporting causes I care about whenever I can. As a student-athlete, I’m mindful of the platform I have and aim to inspire young people by showing the value of hard work and staying committed to goals. Giving back is important to me, whether that’s through time, resources or simply by being present and involved.

How do you make change in your community?
I believe effective change is driven by active engagement in the communities where we are most involved. I currently serve on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Northern Arizona University as well as at the Big Sky Conference level. Through these roles, I have been able to give back to both the Flagstaff community and the broader regional area while advocating for the needs and voices of fellow student-athletes. Representing and supporting my peers is one of the most impactful ways I can serve my community. In addition, I volunteer at my home church, Bridge Church, where I help mentor young children and support faith-based programming that has played a transformative role in my life.

How do you make change in your community?
Our team focuses on community services twice a month, such as a food drive and picking up trash around the community. I also want to be a positive example to all the little girls who are dreaming of playing volleyball at the next level someday. I want little girls to see a leader by my leading example on the court. I want people to see Christ in all that I do. I’m thankful every day for His faithfulness because without Him, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
